Trophy Presentation and update

Saturday 19th January was the Hunts Kart Racing Club presentation night where I received my 2nd place trophy for the Junior TKM club championship in 2018. Congratulations to Jack Nicholson for his win and to all the other trophy winners that night. Thanks to the Committee and volunteers at HKRC for their work in 2018 and to Jess Kingham for organising the presentation night. Gillard are currently building up our new TG16 chassis for our entry in the MSUK National Championship this year and BRT are converting our second engine to extreme specification. We intend, weathering permitting, to test at PFI during the upcoming half term and will be back at Kimbolton for the second round of the club

2019 A new beginning

As I'm 17 this year I've had to move up to the Extreme class in TKM. Engine is now rebored to 115cc and I have a new lot of weight limits/restrictor sizes to contend with. Our first meeting of the year is at Kimbolton for the first round of the club championship. We hoped to spend Saturday experimenting with restrictors and ballast but as the track was dap and greasy all day we didn't really have chance to do anything conclusive. There were 18 on the grid come Sunday and I was drawn 11th on the grid for the first heat.
